Sezzle Cash FAQ
Quick, accurate answers to the questions people ask most about Sezzle Cash.

Sezzle Cash basics
What exactly is Sezzle Cash?
It's the cash advance feature inside the Sezzle App, shown as SezzleCash. Eligible Sezzle Anywhere members can request a small advance — usually $50 to $300 — and repay it automatically over about ten weeks. The flat fee is displayed before you accept, so there's no interest that grows over time.
What is the Sezzle Cash maximum?
About $300 as of October 2026. Your personal offer may be lower.
Can I have two advances at the same time?
No — only one SezzleCash advance can be open at once. After you pay it off, the option may reappear in the app, but each new request is reviewed again.
How quickly does the money arrive?
If you send it to an eligible debit card, it's often there instantly or within about half an hour. Choosing a standard bank transfer is slower — plan on two to three business days.
How do I repay an advance?
Automatically, usually in five installments about two weeks apart, from your default bank account or debit card. You can pay early at no cost.
Fees & costs
What is the Sezzle Cash fee?
A flat service fee shown before you accept — about $3.25 on a $100 advance and up to about $11.25 on larger advances, based on published examples.
Does the Sezzle App cost anything?
The app itself and the standard Pay in 4 and Pay in 2 plans cost nothing if every payment goes through on time. You only pay for optional memberships (Premium is about $13.99 a month, Anywhere about $19.99) or for fees triggered by late, failed or rescheduled payments.
How much is Sezzle Anywhere?
About $19.99 per month. Sezzle Premium costs about $13.99 per month.
Can I reschedule a Sezzle payment?
Yes — you can push an installment back by as much as two weeks in the app. Your first move on an order usually costs nothing, while additional moves may carry a fee of up to $7.50.
Eligibility & credit
Will requesting an advance hurt my credit score?
No hard inquiry is involved. Sezzle looks at how you've used your account and whether you've paid on time. The soft check done when you first open an account doesn't affect your score either.
Where is Sezzle Cash available?
In roughly 30 states. Twenty states and Washington, D.C. are currently excluded — see our Sezzle Cash states page for the up-to-date list, which we re-check monthly.
Can the app help me build credit?
Yes, but only through Sezzle Up, an opt-in feature that reports your payments to Experian, Equifax and TransUnion. Paying on time can help your profile; a late payment reported this way can hurt it, so opt in only if your budget is steady.
Using the app
What is Pay in 4 on the app?
A plan that splits a purchase of about $35–$2,500 into four payments: 25% at checkout and three more every two weeks, with 0% interest if paid on time.
What is Sezzle Send?
A peer-to-peer feature, rolling out since August 2026, that lets you send money by phone number and pay in full or over five installments.
